Quest

I apologize for the sporadic updates, and regret to say that they will most likely continue. This is not because I am not drawing, no indeed quite the opposite is true. The fact is that I have not been happy with my drawing abilities lately. Mainly, I want to launch a comic and have finally solidified the plot. All that is missing is the actual drawing part. And that leads me to my discontent. I feel like I draw my werewolves well enough, I am improving steadily and the were's I do draw seem fluid and real. Where I am displeased are the humans. I feel like they look stiff and posed, and the expressions lack the honesty that I desire. I don't exactly wish to copy another artists style, but certain artists have a style that I would like to incorporate in my drawing. For this reason, I am taking a small time out to practice drawing human beings. I wish to experiement with expressions as well as varying thicknesses in lines to achieve the flowing artsy effect that I want. For examples of what I am talking about, nyanko-chan, and rans have a style that I rather like. I am attracted to the simplicity of it. In any case I wish to foster a similar style in my own art. THEREFORE, although I will be drawing up a storm I most likely will only post anthro pieces. After I am confident that I have found my own style I will start posting the humans and humanoids again. Cuz lets face it...right now I suck big time. :) See you guys later.

I need to stop by and say hi when I have the time. Tell yer mom I said hi.

Now why is everything moving in slow motion?
I'm in a whirlpool swept up by your ocean,
You pull me down and I drown when I look in your eyes~
